Senior Quantum Applications Engineer | Lockheed Martin
Kristen Pudenz is a senior quantum applications engineer for Lockheed Martin. She has years of experience developing industrial applications for the D-Wave family of quantum processors and other quantum annealing systems. Currently, Kristen is leading the applications effort for the US government sponsored Quantum Enhanced Optimization program. Her other research efforts include materials simulation and graph coloring with quantum information systems. While completing her Ph.D. in electrical engineering at the University of Southern California, Kristen was affiliated with the USC-Lockheed Martin quantum computing center as well as the quantum applications group at USC’s Information Sciences Institute.
