Business Development Director, IoT | Telus
Kim Logan is a Business Development Director for the Internet of Things at TELUS, a company she has worked at since 2005. During her tenure at TELUS, she has worked in government relations, corporate communications, and smart cities & buildings business development. She is an experienced leader in the Vancouver business community with a passion for collaboration and engagement, which enables her to galvanize support and deliver positive results at work and in the community.
Kim has volunteered her time and expertise with a number of boards and committees, including the Minerva Foundation for BC Women Board, the Victoria TELUS Community Board, the TELUS World of Science Government Relations Committee, the BC College of Dental Hygienists Board and Registration Committee, and the Business Council of BC (BCBC) Board and Executive Committee. She also served as Vice-Chair of the Justice Institute of BC’s Board of Governors and Chair of BCBC’s Next Leaders’ Council. Dedicated to her community, Kim stood as a candidate in the 2017 BC provincial election.
Prior to joining TELUS, Kim worked in Victoria as Chief of Staff to the Minister of Health, and in Toronto as a Public Affairs Consultant at StrategyCorp Inc. Kim has a B.A. from the University of British Columbia and recently completed her M.B.A. at the University of Victoria’s Gustavson School of Business. She is rediscovering favourite hobbies such as cooking, reading, traveling, and playing golf. Kim, her husband Max, six year old son Hunter and troublesome dog Gertrude make their home in East Vancouver.
