Christina Wolf is a director of the British Columbia Securities Commission, holding the positions of Chief Economist and Acting CIO. She leads a team of economists that brings market-based thinking to key policy projects, conducts regulatory impact analysis, and leads the BCSC's risk management and strategic planning functions. She also leads a team that maintains the technical infrastructure of the Commission, manages records, develops custom internal applications, and offers project management services. She led a multi-year initiative to bring a series of predictive risk models to the Commission to orient the BCSC’s oversight work. She is currently involved in launching a new national system for analyzing equity and derivatives market data, and in a national project measuring the impact of two major regulatory initiatives related to investor disclosures. Before joining the BCSC, Ms. Wolf spent eight years with the Boston Consulting Group.
